(i originally was going to do a drugstore favorites collective video so i wanted to wear some of the things i was going to be talking about but after 4 hrs of filming this was all i got lol. after editing this i realized that video would be too long anyway so i am going to be going over all my drugstore favorites but breaking the videos up by category i.e. face, eyes, etc.)

I also think this would be a good tutorial if you were going as a WITCH for Halloween : ) ...well like a pretty witch, clearly not a scary one with green skin or anything. The main lid color reminds me of witch skin though so at least it would be an appropriate accent.

Its great for Brown Eyes as well as people with Monolids! (although I do not have monolids my lids are so small its close enough LOL)

I'm actually really enjoying it right now as well as the set up on the site so I will probably be posting a lot more there. (more of like a random photo diary I guess) Which I thought would be nice since I do not really post pictures on here.

This is one of my favorite eye looks and the one I always do if I am in a hurry! I usually wear this look in my videos and also to meetings. (when I say its an everyday look I don't mean that I wear this every day. I don't wear makeup every day but if I don't have time to experiment & I need to be ready for something this is the look I do! I also have been known to do this look in both my boyfriend's, Steve and my friend Anne's car when I am late getting ready to wherever we are going LOL.

Also YES mascara is applied prior to starting the tutorial. This is not something I do for regular life but only for the camera so that they show up. The mascara used is the same as the one I used in this video (please refer to product list above)

*****Of course you can use any nail polish you want, no one has to go out and buy a $20 polish. This isnt a tutorial its just showing people what I used on my nails. I never planned on doing a video on it. I just filmed this an hr or so ago in my bathroom. I realize $20 is a lot for a nail polish. I really liked this one, bought it but never used it till now and wanted to try it out. Also its the only silver glitter polish I own. So please do not be upset at the price of the polish I'm not saying you have to use this. Its just what I used. (I really do like the different sizes of glitter and the way they lay on top of each other. Its one of the alluring factors to the Deborah Lippmann polishes for me) Thank you for understanding : )

What I originally went for! L'Oreal Lash Serum. I have already used one full tube of this and have seen results. I will do a video talking about my experience and before and after what not at a later date. This one has no harmful drugs or anything like that its just nourishing to help boost your lashes more naturally (like taking vitamins or using a night cream) (which is why I chose it : )

I actually find its cheaper at Wal-mart though...about $10 and change there. Its $14 or $15 at my Walgreens.

Limited Edition Maybelline Unstoppable Highlighters

in Fluffy Cloud and Twilight Pink

I expected them to be a little shimmery but they are actually kind of matte. Reminds me a lot of the Benefit eye bright but in a nice skinny form. These are the same packaging as the Unstoppable eyeliners. I think these will be pretty multi purpose.

I would say you all could live without these lol. I mean get them if you want them but I wouldn't say they are super special. I won't be getting backups BUT I think they are cool because they are kind of the only drugstore type of highlighter like this that I've seen. If you do get one I recommended the pink.

These are $7.49 at my Walgreens and there was a $1 OFF Coupon on the marketing.

Picked up another Milani Liquifeye! These are my FAVORITE! So creamy and pigmented! MAKE SURE TO LET THEM SIT A LITTLE TO LET IT SET AND DRY OTHERWISE THESE WILL SMUDGE A BIT! I have heard a lot of ppl complaining but these are the longest lasting, least smudgy pencil liner on me. (sharpen or automatic)

I've never seen this Aqua one before and since Turquoise is my favorite exotic color to wear I hadddd to pick this up. I LOVE IT! I want to collect them all. There was only one so I wasn't able to grab a backup. : \ These seem to be always sold out everywhere lol.

Ordered from Hautelook. I believe it was on sale for $40 something? I don't remember and its not printed on my receipt. The color is a little darker than I usually use but not bad. After all is said and done matches pretty well. LOVE the packaging and comes with a nice velvet-type pouch.

I like that it can be worn sheer to med-full coverage. It doesnt look as thick as i thought it might. (esp. for a cream foundation) Still need to test it more to see if and how much I like it.

I don't know if its doing anything for my dark circles but I really like the idea of it and its a nice quick and easy under eye concealer and has really decent coverage. It doesn't look so brown on me since my natural lipcolor is a dark/bright pink, it still shows through and just makes a really pretty soft and feminine nude. LOVE!

I wanted to order a few (more) backups of my favorite Sigma brushes. Because they are multipurpose its a good idea for me to have more than one of each. (The brush I use for foundation is also good for powder. The brush I primarily use for powder is also good for blush, etc.)

I am planning on cleaning out my brush collection and storing a lot of the ones I don't use anymore. (most of my face brushes are obsolete now) So I need a few more of the Sigmax brushes so that I don't have to keep washing every time I want to use one with a different product. I have been DYING to try these IPKN glosses!

They are I believe Korean and they are HUGE tubes! and best part...the come with coordinating mini glosses that can be used as a phone charm or keychain!

I've heard a lot of good things about these glosses but I can't say I am AS impressed as people were hyping them up to be (I guess I just expected more pigmentation (these are more sheer with one coat than NARS Turkish Delight but better texture and taste, these are also more buildable without getting crazy to me.)) BUT I still really like them and am glad I got them. They may grow even more on me, I have only tried them on once so far (they just came today) They didn't nude out my lips as much as I would love but these are still really good! VERY pretty colors!

Everyone also talks about how huge the tubes are...which they are BUT if you look at the bottom you can see that whole thing isnt filled with gloss it just has hefty packaging and I couldn't find a weight to see how much was ACTUALLY in there. But theres def. a good amount. Would probably take a long time to go through!

I love both the colors I really can't choose one or the other. I picked Babydoll Pink (PK52) and Juicy Orange (OR61) Both are milky pastels (you can see that they are kind of sheer in the swatches, thats only one swipe.)

THEY ARE DEFIANTLY BUILDABLE COLORS! You can also pair these over lipsticks but I like glosses that can stand alone as well as look great over a lipstick and these fit the bill!

I would re-purchase (although I dont think I will have to for a whileee!) and am thinking of buying the Coral and Raspberry as well! (I don't want to try and of the shimmer ones really..I like milky cream colors best)

I thought I would share this post with you guys since it is beauty related. This post is from my New Shopping Blog that I recently started. So as some of you may know Essie is my FAVORITE nailpolish brand! ...like ever....in life. lol.

But it can be kind of hard to come by near me. I had heard that Walmart now carries the brand which I was excited for but...my local Walmart does not carry it yet...figures.

Anywaysss I stopped at a Walmart yesterday (not for the polishes) and was pleased to see a display of them on an end cap, of course, I had to grab a few.

They didn't have a tonnn of colors BUT they did have the one I was after which is Tart Deco (the coral/peach color shown) The pink one I think may be limited edition, I'm not sure. There were a couple other polishes with it but none that were really any different than polishes I already own. The blue one I purchased because I have really been wanting China Glaze Secret Periwinkle, just haven't gotten around to purchasing it. On I think the Essie one (Lapiz of Luxury) is darker than the China Glaze and...I dont think I really care for it on me. : ( I did a blue glitter (almost) gradient using the Katy Perry "Last Friday Night" OPI polish...I think this one looks better on its own. (I dont care for the look on me but I figured I would post a pic anyways so you could see what it looked like.

(btw these were about $8 each ($7 and change before tax) prices may very per location but that's pretty much the standard price I've seen for the brand.)

(BTW was Jazzed by Essie a Limited Edition color? I've been meaning to get it but never see it anywhere)

CUTEST VS PACKAGING EVER! ...products good too ;)

I am usually a fan of Victoria's Secret VS makeup but the packing on these products are sooo cute! Very YSL but with some slightly tacky animal print lol. But hey its fun!

I like both of the lipstick colors, I got 2 of 4. There is also a midtone pink and a deep wine/berry color (neither of which looked good on me) The formula is kind of think for my liking which makes it a little less moisturizing than other lipsticks I own. The nude is very different than any other shade I own (bought a ton of backups...bought back ups of all these products LOL...i have a problem) The blush I chose is the darkest one out of the 4 but its also the most pigmented. The other blushes are 10x more shimmery and more just like a highlight powder. This one is very pretty and blended out its really pretty and girly. One of my new favorite blushes for sure!

Hey guys! So as you know this is my personal/beauty blog and its pretty random lol. Just video/random review/swatch posting usually... some personal pics from time to time but not too often (since ppl are crazy lol)

BRING ON THE BLING!

Hey guys! I just wanted to share my favorite makeup products to get glam this New Years Eve! I tend to lean towards sparkle on the eyes and nails. My favorite colors are silver or gold glitter. I chose mostly light colors that really show the glitter particles. I don't really like to go ultra dark for NYE. I tend to stick to neutral/natural shades that have a nice shine to them. It is very popular to do a dark smokey eye for the night but a bright eye has better staying power and will still look fresh when the clock strikes midnight! I also like these particular products because they photograph beautifully. LOVE!

Holiday Traditions....a little late.

Hey guys! Sorry I am late on posting this on here. This was originally a post for my StyleSip blog but I wanted to make sure that I still posted it here! (sorry about the spacing. they broke it up weird on the site...idk)

Its that time of year again... holiday season! I receive many questions about my family holiday traditions. The biggest tradition in my house is hanging up the ornaments! We have sort of a mismatched tree consisting of all of the Christmas ornaments that we have collected over the years. When we were younger, every year my brother and I would get a new Hallmark ornament for Christmas. My mom would find ornaments that are related to our interests or experiences from that year. Of course as we got older, our tastes and experiences changed.

The last ornament I received was a leopard print peep toe high heel. LOL. I actually have shoes that look just like the stiletto ornament! We also have some “oldie but goodie” ornaments, like the ones we made in elementary and middle school with pictures of us on them. You know, the embarrassing paper ones that my brother thinks are hilarious! We always hang them together at night with a fire burning. There is no Christmas music or cookies baking. Don't worry we're not that cliché. LOL. I know it probably sounds like a lifetime movie right about now.

As we've gotten older, it does change a bit. In years past, when I wasn't living at home, I would miss out on decorating the tree. I would show you a picture of our tree this year but we have yet to put it up. SUPER late. My family has pretty much always had the same traditions for as long as I can remember but they have changed a bit in the last year due to an illness in my family. My grandmother got sick around November last year. She now lives with us, and my mother and I take care of her. And every holiday is a reminder to be grateful for her and each other.

Our most unusual tradition, however, is that every Christmas Eve we HAVE to wear new pajamas. They're usually festive. Not necessarily Christmas themed, but they've got to at least be Christmas colors or plaid. I'm honestly not sure why we carry on with this tradition, but we do! I think it started when my brother and I were younger and my mom wanted to take Christmas morning pictures in presentable PJ’s. Our family exchanges presents on Christmas Eve and we open "Santa Presents" on Christmas morning so you better bet one of your Christmas Eve presents is a new pair of pajamas! This is probably my favorite tradition. There is just something special about slipping into new pajamas on Christmas Eve and sharing it with my family!

My least favorite tradition is opening presents on Christmas Eve. On Christmas Day, with when we open the presents from Santa, it's a total free for all. My dad is picking up all the wrapping paper and we just go crazy!

Christmas Eve? Another story. It takes forever! And note: I am not a patient person. In fact, I usually give my presents before Christmas. I just can't wait! My family gets so annoyed! We sit together and open gifts one by one in a rotation: me, my brother, my dad, my mom, and grandma at the rear and then the cycle starts all over again until every gift is opened.

It takes so long and I honestly cannot take the suspense (it's like a graduation ceremony!). I almost burst out of my skin because I want everyone to see what I bought for them. I love when they “Oooo” and “Ahhh” over gifts! It's just so hard to sit still. This year, I should get a snack or something lined up to help me pass the time. It actually doesn't bother anyone else in my family it seems, just me. I guess they're savoring the moment. *Shrugs*

Favorite Polishes for Holiday 2010

Hey Guys just wanted to post this here as well, This was posted last week on Stylesip as one of my posts for this month. Be sure and check out the site! I am guest blogging for them for the month of December : ) (it ends up being about 3 posts per week!)

When it comes to nail polish, I usually prefer cream finishes rather than sparkly glitter polish. However, every time the holidays roll around, I can't help myself and tend to chose the festive polishes! With that said, here are my favorite holiday picks for 2010 (in no specific order!).

1. ESSIE - Bold and Beautiful

I like this red shade all year round, especially during the holiday season. I wear it without any other color as its super shiny or wear it as a base with MAC Bad Fairy nail polish (this shade is very sheer and difficult to wear on its own).

This color is GORGEOUS and it looks better against my skin tone than other red shades, especially bright red. It's a nice blood red hue, rich and deep, and I absolutely love it. It looks very polished and matches well with most complexions. It is buildable, appearing darker with each additional coat. I usually choose three coats but the example on the nail pictured is two.

2. OPI for Sephora - Only Gold For Me

This is actually the only chunky glitter nail polish I own! I like this shade because it has a mixture of large and small glitter flecks.

The mixture of the different sized flecks in the polish is so amazing, giving it a cool texture. I like to use this polish as a top coat, either layered as a gradient (which is my favorite,) applied to the tips or used to create a design.

I have yet to use this polish over bare nails because it is VERY hard to remove and it would probably take forever to layer on the coats – maybe worth it for a special occasion. If you don’t have the time or energy, visit a salon and have them remove it with 100% acetone and a file drill. This polish DOES NOT play around with staying power!

3. Milani 3D Holographic Polish - HD

OMG! Words cannot express how much I love this polish! It is my first holographic polish and I basically think it’s the coolest thing ever! It comes in a bunch of colors but I felt the silver was the least tacky. This polish is the best when you want to wear glitter while still looking subtle.

The holographic particles are very small and it’s mixed in with coordinating polish so it gives the nail a very smooth look. There is a subtle shine, but if you look closely you can see all of the holographic bits. My favorite part is the way the entire nail looks holographic, not just the pieces of holographic glitter. As a bonus, for those of you who don’t like to get to crazy, from far away it just looks like a silver nail polish. This is my favorite glitter nail polish. LOVE! Also, a big plus for me... it's easy to remove! It comes off just like a regular nail polish!

4. Milani One Coat Glitter - Purple Gleam

I know purple isn't a traditional "holiday" color, but this shade is amazing. I love this polish BUT it is a bit more high maintenance than the others. Yes, you can get full coverage in one coat like the product claims but I still do two coats - when it comes to glitter go big or go home! However, since it has so much glitter, it dries very quickly and matte. If you see the polish getting clumpy you may want to try lacquer thinner or a good top coat.

5. MAC -Bad Fairy

As I mentioned earlier, this polish is very sheer and even with three coats you can see through it. With that being said, I love this on top of a coordinating polish color. It actually works over pretty much any color that is darker, but I tend to use it with other red shades, especially Essie Bold and Beautiful – think tinsel! The glitter in this shade gives off an orange tone and it is easy to remove. This polish is very popular and is sold out most places so I hope you can get a hold of some (I bought back-ups!).

Alright so since I am putting work into doing these StyleSip posts for Kmart I wanted to make sure that I could use them for my own blog as well (I don't want it all to go to waste when the project is over) so basically after my post has been up on StyleSip for a bit I will be posting it here on my blog for you guys to enjoy FOREVERRRR lmfao. jk jk. This brush was kindly gifted to me from Sigma : ) clearly these are my honest thoughts and opinions as they always are. If you are familiar with my videos and reviews you know that my reviews are always honest and I don't hold back. I am not getting paid to do a review nor was I required to review it, I have just been getting a lot of questions on it, I didn't even know they had planned on sending it to me.

My Thoughts: I love the the fact that they switched it up and did something different with the 18K gold plated ferrule. The weight and make of this brush is a lot like the sigmax brushes but HUGE, the hair though...just feels like the angled blush brush so I don't love it as much as the sigmax brushes. It took me a while to wrap my mind around how big this brush was lol. I think this would be good for powder products only considering it is natural hair bristle brush so bronzer, shimmer bronzer, shimmer highlight....I dont typically use makeup or shimmer on my body but if I were going to this would be good because it covers a large area quickly. Also its not toooooo big to use on your face it you wanted to lightly apply something.

Bottom line: Nicely made brush, is it a must have? NO. Its kind of ridiculous BUT its a great splurge item to get for yourself and would be wonderful for makup artists to have. I am super fond of the natural hair now that I am so spoiled by the sigmax brushes but this is nice because it wont apply too much or apply too thickly and especially because you will probably be using shimmer products with this, you'd want a lighter application anyway. I dont notice a ton of shedding, its pretty mild but does shed a bit because it is a natural hair brush but nothing crazy. Its soft when sweeping but can be a bit prickly if used in a dabbing motion. (which you would probably only use this in a sweeping motion but I tried the dabbing just to test it out ya know?) If you are a makeup artist or a makeup fan/collector GO FOR IT! If money is a concern for you, then you defiantly don't need it!

Hey Guys! So I just thought I'd let you know about a new project I'm working on with Kmart! If you follow my twitter you know that I was in NYC all day shopping at Kmart & having lunch at The Standard : )If you didn't get the gist of what we're doing...

Kmart is having 3 guest bloggers, (2 bloggers and 1 youtuber (me :) on their fashion blog section StyleSip.com! It will be for Novemember, December and January so look out for exclusive blog posts and videos from me in the month of December : ) I will also post on Twitter and my Facebook Page when I do a post for the site.

Its only for one month but I am looking forward to it. I had a lot of fun meeting everyone and shopping around. There were some surprisingly cute pieces there! I also picked up a couple cute things to give away to my subscribers as well!

We will be focusing on the lines BONGO (Audrina from The Hills is the spokesperson. Nicole Richie was also a past spokes person), Dream Out Loud (Selena Gomez's Clothing Line), Rebecca Bon Bon (they said it was from the same person who does Hello Kitty ^_^), and GLO. I managed to pick out a few items from each line! Bongo, Dream Out Loud and Rebecca Bon Bon had my favorite stuff, got some shoes from GLO as well.

I am really impressed with the BONGO jeans I got actually though, they look a lot like those Tripp NYC $74 jeans I bought a month or so back from Karmaloop.com except these were only $24! Thats around the same price as F21 and these fit and feel a lot better! I may be posting some pics or a haul video but I'm not sure yet.

Just thought I'd give you all a heads up on this fun project!

TRIPP NYC Jeans from Karmaloop! Just got these 2 pairs!

Just got the second pair pictured (the black destroyed jeans) in the mail today and they fit SOOO good! They are super comfy! And I feel like usually I have a hard time finding jeans that I like the way they fit. So I loved the way the fit so much I went back to the site and ordered another paid (the first ones pictured) I ordered the same size in both pairs but the models in the pics are wearing different sizes and I am hoping that its just different models in each pic O_O I ordered a size 3.

I actually am loving the pair I just ordered even more than the pair I got in the mail today but I guess we shall see when the new pair comes in! I'll update you all I'm sure.

P.S. I tried filming the VV Haul video....-__- fail. everyone is toooo loud at my house! I can't wait to move out again, its been a long year and a half. (I moved out the first time when I was 18) Its really starting to wear on me. Plus...I miss Steve!
